Dwarves live in caves and caves and in the land of Nidavellir. They are extremely talented craftsmen, blacksmiths, artisans who create countless valuable (and also disastrous) treasures for the gods and humans. Here, Epic would like to point out the names of some of the most typical dwarves mentioned in the treasure of Norse Mythology.
1. Motsognir and Durinn
These are the first two dwarves created in the 3D printed hoodie world. From the maggots on the ancestral giant Ymir, the gods Odin, Vili and Ve gave them human-like form and wisdom. Motsognir was created first, then Durinn. They are the ancestors of the dwarves.
2. Nodri, Sudri, Austri and Vestri
After the giant Ymir died, his body parts were used to shape the world. Ymir's skull became the dome of the sky, supported by four dwarves Nodri, Sudri, Austri, and Vestri. They can either represent the four winds, or identify with the four deer that live around the world tree Yggdrasil.
3. Dvalin
Dvalin is the leader who taught the dwarves runes, and also the creator of the cursed sword Tyrfing.
In the epic Hervarar, two dwarves Dvalin and Durin are forced by King Svafrlami to forge the sword of Tyrfing, a sword that never slips, does not rust, can cut through stone and iron. They cursed indignantly that every time Tyrfing swung one, one would die, and at the same time would create three terrible evils for the world. Svafrlami heard it and tried to swing his sword to kill Dvalin, but he quickly disappeared behind the cliff. Svafrlami was later killed by the same curse.
4. The Dwarves Brising
They are the four dwarves Dvalin, Alfrigg, Berling and Gerr, the creators of the Brisingamen necklace. A necklace made of gold and silver, encrusted with precious stones like the night sky, enchanted the goddess Freyja. In order to get the necklace, she had to fulfill an unscrupulous request of the dwarves: to sleep with each dwarf for one night. And she agreed.
Even with the necklace, she still can't rest. Loki teases Odin, angering Odin, and orders Loki to steal the bracelet while Freyja is fast asleep. He only paid Freyja on one condition: She must use her beauty to stir up a battle between the two Midgard kings. And every time a soldier fell, she had to use magic to bring him back to life and fight again.
And she had to agree...
5. Sons of Ivaldi & Brothers Brokk and Eitri
Due to the trick of cutting the beautiful blonde hair of the goddess Sif, Loki was caught by Thor. To atone, he must return Sif's hair as soon as possible.
So in order to avoid having to pay, he set up a challenge to compete between two teams of dwarves, to see who created the most valuable treasures to offer to the gods. Ivaldi's sons created the Skidbladnir for Freyr, the Gungnir spear for Odin, and the golden wig for Sif. Brothers Brokk and Eitri created the wild boar Gullinbursti for Freyr, the golden Draupnir ring for Odin, and the hammer Mjonir for Thor.
Thanks to the hammer Mjonir, brothers Brokk and Eitri were won by the gods. Ironically, Loki had bet Brokk that if they won they would get Loki's head. Loki then explains that they can only take the head, not the neck, because that is not in the agreement. But they had no way to take the head without hurting the neck, so they had to swallow bitterly. Finally, Brokk sewed Loki's mouth shut to relieve his anger and slowly left.

6. Alviss
Thor and Sif have an only daughter, the beautiful Thrud. A fragrant flower to the hearts of the Asgardians. Still, I don't know if there's any trickster god who secretly betrothed Thrud to the ugly dwarf Alviss to pay him to forge weapons for the gods (who would be so stupid!). Thor doesn't know, Sif doesn't, and Miss Thrud doesn't know. And one fine day, Alviss knocked on Thor's door claiming to be son-in-law.
Thor, alarmed at his son-in-law falling from the bomber jacket sky, and not at all in favor of Thrud, devised a plan to test Alviss' intellect. He asked Alviss one question after another, and he answered them all. Thor buys time until morning, Alviss proves himself to be hit by the rays of the sun and turns into a stone statue. The moldy chopsticks come out like that...
7. Fjalar and Galar
There are dwarves and dwarves, there are talented dwarves, and there are dwarves like these two. Fjalar and Galar are two dwarves who killed the god Kvasir, mixing his blood with honey to create Poetic Wine, which, when drunk, is instantly poetic.
After accidentally drowning the giant Gilling, they again killed his wife Galar as she screamed loudly. Suttung, the son of Gilling and Galar, arrests the two dwarfs, and in order to redeem their lives, they are forced to compensate Suttung with the precious Wine of Poetry.
